Mandi is very passionate about animals. I have a bearded dragon and several dogs. She helped me with the litter of puppies I had and she loved them as if they were her own. Not only did she help train them to be respectful little puppies she helped me manage my hectic household. Mandi was willing and available to do whatever it took to make sure these puppies and my family had what they needed and helped to train them at an early age. I would trust Mandi with all of my animals. Mandi has experience that counts and more importantly she wants to do the best job she can!

Mandi took care of our furbabies for the first time while we were half a world away and we couldn’t be happier with our experience with her! Our crew is on the high maintenance side with meds for almost everyone and one very shy kitty. Our dog and 3 cats loved her, she’s super responsive and gave us frequent updates on our babies. We’ll be repeat clients for our future trips.

Mandi was born and raised in Oak Forest, Houston and is the proud owner of Mandi’s Mutts, Houston’s premier house call solution for all your grooming, and pet sitting needs.
Mandi loves all animals. She has had a variety of pets growing up, including rabbits, duck, parakeets, leopard geckos, aquariums of fish, cats, and dogs. Throughout her whole grade school life, Mandi would even take home classroom pets. Admittedly, she has always had a fascination with snakes, although her parents would never allow one in the house. Just out of habit, Mandi would go to pet stores to watch snake feedings and any time there was a chance to hold one, she was delighted. Mandi would adore the opportunity to care for any reptiles while their owners enjoyed a vacation.
Her first pet as an adult was a little red mixed basset and coon hound named Daisy. They were inseparable. Daisy was her whole heart. Daisy was a very talkative stage five clinger with extreme anxiety. She was rescued from the barrio of Corpus Christi, Texas and lived to be 14 years old. Daisy always kept Mandi on her toes, and Mandi learned A LOT about dog behavior. Because Daisy was a mischievous and anxious little soul, Mandi excels with dogs and other animals that have extreme anxiety while parents are away or during training and grooming sessions. She is complimented by other peers in her industry as well as pet parents on her extreme patience and passion for what she does.
Mandi’s mission is to provide the most stellar and safe house call care for the convivence for her two-legged clients and comfort for her four-legged clients. She graduated from Golden Paws Grooming School in 2022. Mandi is a firm believer in continued education to sharpen her skills as a groomer, and to provide you and your pets with the best grooms possible. Mandi is huge on educating her clients so they may also have knowledge to be the best pet parent possible! A few of the classes she has attended are Groom Texas, US Pet Pro Classic, and an Asian Fusion grooming course! Mandi is also a certified Pet CPR and First Aid instructor with PetTech!
In 2020 and 2022 she helped raise two golden retriever litters using the Puppy Culture method. She learned a lot about dog psychology through the program. She has also worked for Joasis, a local dog dock diving and swim business. At Joasis, Mandi helped dogs overcome their fear of swimming, taught puppies and dogs how to correctly swim, and helped those that were headed to competition practice their diving skills. Mandi loved her time at Joasis, what could be better than hanging out at the pool all day, enjoying dogs of different breeds along with meeting other dog lovers?
Mandi has a passion and thirst for knowledge in her industry. She hopes to be considered a “doggie guru” one day, some say she is already there!
